The treasurer (chief financial officer) of the Lake Union Headquarters is responsible for safeguarding all funds received and disbursing them in harmony with church policy voted by the Executive Committee. The treasurer is also responsible for remitting all required funds to the North American Division (NAD) and General Conference in harmony with NAD policy. The treasurer maintains accurate and comprehensive accounting of church funds and presents accurate reports on a timely basis. The treasurer is responsible for providing financial leadership to the local conferences and institutions within the Lake Union territory.


The Treasury Department:

• serves as trustee, on behalf of the local conferences, for irrevocable trust.
• coordinates funding for capital projects from the Revolving Fund trust.
• provides software accounting support for local conferences.
• is responsible for the operation of the Lake Union Headquarters and its facilities.

As a treasury department, we manage resources to advance our mission of proclaiming the everlasting gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
